Hey, everybody! I haven't made a journal in a hell of a long time. This is just a list of some of the best Avatar stories on FanFiction.net. I have been spending a lot of my time there and not much time here.

Passionworks' FanFiction List:

1: 'Bliss' by one of my best friends, TrueThinker. [link] This story focuses on the characters Ozai and Azula. This is an incest piece, though, but isn't too graphic. I'll be doing fan art to this story in a while, so be on the lookout for that! This is actually my favorite piece on FFN as a whole, so enjoy it!

2: 'Turtleducks' by my other best friend, Nikkel. [link] This is the main reason Azula throws the bread at the turtleducks. It makes a reference to the episode "Zuko Alone," but it is a minute one.

3: 'Wasted Space' by one of my Deviant friends Iyeshana. [link] She's quite a poet, isn't she? This poem revolves around Azula's unraveling mind as she looks at herself in the mirror. This is a reference to "Sozin's Comet: Into the Inferno."

4: ' Path of Fire' by MasterGhandalf. [link] This is a sequel to 'Heart of Fire,' and is not completed yet. In this story, Azula is trying to overcome her mental destruction along with having to find her mother, Ursa. This fic makes many references to the series, mainly Books 2 and 3.

5: 'The Affair' by Leechi Nuts Elle. [link] I'm not sure if Elle is continuing this, but it is quite a piece nonetheless! This is an Azulaang fic and is rated for a reason. Aang is dealing with his duties as the Avatar along with his affair with Azula.

6: 'Change of Heart for Another' by Raynn the Fallen Angel. [link] This fic only has two chapters up, but it's very likeable on the basis on what has been done and said. From what I know, she is still writing it, but it hasn't been updated in a while. In this story, Azula is raped by a night guard at the prison she is staying at.

7: 'You Were Only in my Way' by Firelord Azula. [link] This fic is gruesome but the imagery is absolutely amazing. This is a oneshot depicting the relationship of Azula and her father, Ozai. The end is the kicker, amazing and full of symbolism. A powerful read!

8: 'Self Reduction' by Lye Tea. [link] She, along with TrueThinker, Nikkel, and Paynesgrey, is one of my favorite authors on here. Her stuff really makes you think, which is a personal hobby of mine when I read fanfiction. This depicts Azula's mental destruction with thought-provoking descriptions. Simply amazing piece of writing.

9: 'His Private Prisoner' by Paynesgrey. [link] This is Zuko's visitation with Azula in prison. Azula, being who she is, would rather die than rot away in prison, but Zuko stands his ground authoratatively. The ending is a bit surprising, we see Azula's seductive nature. I would recommend this if you want to think about it. This author is very much like Lye Tea because you have to use your mind while reading.

10: 'Just Deserts' by Kaibasgirlx. [link] This is the saddest piece of fiction that I have ever read and has a great symbolic nature. Here we see that Azula is bringing life in the world. Her struggles are brought down to this one single act, and the unthinkable happens. If you want to cry, read this. It is unique in all aspects and is a great tragic piece.

11: 'So Let the Rain Fall' by Eternal Luna 21. [link] This a slight Sokkula (SokkaxAzula) and it shows the side of Azula that the series doesn't show: Azula as a torn and confused girl. She overpowers her father for the first time in her life and she runs into Sokka. Basically, she joins the Avatar's team, based on assumption.

12: 'Captive and Captor' by Theunknownvoice. [link] This is an Azulaang fic. Azula captured the Avatar and is in need of an heir, and on the basis of respect for his power, she chooses Aang as the sire for her child. Another favorite of mine, being that motherhood is not very explored on Azula.

13: 'Beautiful Lies by Miss Frerak. [link] A Jetzula fic that has yet to be finished. In an accident, Azula is found unconscious by Jet and he takes her to his hideout. Once awake, Azula has to do her best to hide her identity.

14: 'Bite to Break Skin' by FriendshipxOfxFire. [link] A very descriptive fic that shows the turmoil of Azula's mental health issues. It shows her confident nature being eradicated by the events of her life. The imagery in the piece is unbelieveable and realistic. A must for those who love to concieve a mental picture when they read.

15: 'Combustion Countdown' by Snappleducated. [link] The countdown of Azula's life. This is one of the most unique fics I have ever read. It takes a great twist on the Azula we know and love.
